First off, to the person above me, tourette syndrome is NOT funny. It's no laughing matter. As for your question, it's hard to say. They are two completely different disorders. Tourette's is a type of tic disorder. A tic is just a movement or sound a person makes repeatedly that they can't control. Common tics are things like nodding, shrugging, weird faces, blinking, coughing, grunting, squeaking and so on. But tics is all it does to a person. It doesn't effect intelligence, personality, appearance, or how long a person lives. All it does is cause a person to have tics Asperger's is kind of like autism. A people with it are usually really, really smart but they can't get social cues which makes making friends very hard. When you ask which one's better I guess I don't get what you mean. Are you saying which one would you rather have? Because out of those two, I'm choosing tourette's. Why? because I actually have it and although it brings some challenges in life, it's just an obstacle to overcome. Besides, once you have it for awhile, you learn to live with it.
