No, autism and Asperger's syndrome cannot be detected before birth, neither from sperm nor anything else.

Aspergers is actually not considered a real disorder anymore as of this month. So if you think you have it, you don't because it is not real. Its just an excuse for people with no social skills to get away with being antisocial and rude.

No, there is no screening for autism spectrum disorders because the causes aren't even known yet. It's possible that there are some genes that are particularly vulnerable to environmental influences that may manifest in a child with autism but these genes have not been recognized yet.

I also have issues with my son\'s Autism . I posted my question on wish123 and got an answer from an expert who solved my problem. Worth a try.
