I've always been the odd ball out. My parents are always telling me that I'm different from anyone else that they know. I have a hard time making eye contact. When speaking I'll make quick eye contact, glance around, make eye contact again, and repeat. I don't realize I'm doing it until after the fact. I have a hard time talking to people. I'll clam up, and my face will turn bright red. Same with public speaking. Can't do public speaking at all without almost crying. I constantly fidgit and twist my torso when standing in place. I cross my arms because I feel awkward standing any other way. I withdraw from people, and I'm not comfortable with social settings like parties and such. I've been told that I have a large vocabulary and my parents and teachers criticize me of trying to go ABOVE my level, but it just feels natural to me. I never thought about it. I think that it intimidates peers. I've never had many friends, and I get walked on I think. Taken advantage of. I just feel so alone, because I know that I'm different and I have no one else like me to discuss it with. One of the main reasons that I think I have this is, my psychologist mentioned that she thought I could have it after my mother told her that I walk with my head down and don't smile much. (I've come out of it a little, but I'm still bad at social things). Also, my cousin has been diagnosed with autism. My mom doesn't think that I could have this, and I can't convince her yet. I feel so out of place amongst my peers, and I shy away from intimate things. I'm just uncomfortable in my own body and mind, and I'm so alone. I will be so relieved to get answers on this. :( Do you think I could have this? |

You may be extremely shy, but you don't have asperger's. |

Our body, just like the universe, has a pattern which evolves through time. Therefore by including the concept of "time " into the diagnosis, we can predict the pattern of our body, like the way we can predict the patterns in the universe. I am a Licensed Acupuncturist who practices what I call "Time Medicine ". For years, I perform my diagnosis by using your gender, birth date, time of birth, and city and country of birth. I am able to immediately see the pattern, such as the physical appearance, the preference of food, the personality, and most importantly, accurately predict the time of event, and the type of disorder this person has. By understanding the constitution, I am able give my clients awareness as to how to prevent many ailments that may occur in their own pattern. So did I answer your question? Send a reply with the information of your gender, birthdate, time of birth, and city and country of birth. Look forward to conversing with you. |

It is possible...i know a couple of kids who have it ..and they sound similar...the doc should be able to give you a better answer...and yr mum will have to accept it ..if you do...it is not such a bad thing and you can live a normal life with it...and will probably grow out of it later...but you need to find out for sure ..and no one can tell you except the doctor...if you dont have it ...then you probably need to be put in a few places where people can help you be comfortable with in your own body and help with social skills...good luck... |

From what you write, you might or might not. You could take the test at okcupid.com/ tests/ the-broad-autism-phenotype-test , and show it your mom. If you're still sure, but can't do anything about it, you could get in touch with others, for example, at wrongplanet.net/ forums.html . That can help a lot. |
