i am really over sensitive i get offended if a door is shut near me and end up feeling grumpy and or crying and getting in a mood which lasts the whole dayi get extremely offended too easily people dont make eye contact with me and i get all angry and upset and grumpy when my fave song comes i get this really excited feeling and feel like im on a catwalk stage and expect people to look and feel jealous of me like im a celebrityim very different and because of that making friends is very hard impossible in real life i also get very shy but try to be confident doesnt work people just think im weirdi cant laugh sometimes like visual things but jokes etc dont find them 1 percent funny

My friend's daughter arrived at my house today after going shopping with her mum. She's 6. I asked her what she had done that day and she told me she'd been shopping. She then continued to tell me the names of all shops visited, what was purchased and how much the whole thing cost. I was blown away by this as I'm 16 and I can hardly remember that In the past when I've been babysitting her I've said to her " look, that car's like your mummy's car," and she has said " no it's not. mummy's car blah blah...." she then lists the details. Maybe she's just got a superb memory, but it's amazing what she comes out with. She's very good at math too, however she is a very sociable child. I'm just concerned that she's showing signs of autism. Are these signs?

I was diagnosed with major depression about 3 weeks ago, and I also have some serious anxiety issues along with that. I've always had a wild imagination and I've always been a somewhat sensitive kid. I don't know why, but when someone calls me weird, I take it really personally. I somehow got it in my head that I could possibly be autistic or have aspergers. I took a 150 question quiz online and it told me I wasn't on the autism spectrum, there was a word for it, but I completely forgot it. Anyway, it's still just a quiz online and it quite possibly be not accurate, so it didn't really give me much closure. I've gone to public school my entire life, so do you think it's possible for autism or aspergers to go unnoticed or undiagnosed for 17 years?

I have suffered from an eating disorder for 3 4 years now, and today got diagnosed with aspergers syndrome.I have seen a psychiatrist before for my problem, but it did not work, it just made me worse really.But the psychiatrist who diagnosed me with asperger she specialses in autistic spectrum disorders today offered to see me about my eating disorder, do you think this could be more beneficial?or do I need to see an eating disorder specialist?
