Changed Orthodontist mid-treatment. Should I remove braces and have new ones put on?
I need help. We moved out of the area and have to change orthodontist mid treatment. My son currently has GAC .018 braces on his teeth. The Orthodontist we saw in our new town says those braces need to be taken off and replaced with GAC .022 because .018 is " old school" and not as effective and hardly any orthodontist uses that size because it's the old fashioned way. He says it would be very difficult to find an orthodontist that uses .018.Should I have braces removed to put a more modern size on? We have had braces on one year and have 18 months to go.I'd love an opinion from an Orthodontist. Thanks

i am 17 years old and pretty much since 8 9 years old i have felt as though i am constantly being watched blah blah blah. I have done extensive research on it and on a self diagnosis, i believe that i suffer from a form of schizophrenia called Persecutory Delusions and have narrowed it down to non bizarre, mood incongruent delusion. Knowing this now helps a bit, but just moving into a new house has almost pushed me to my limit. I have been thinking about seeing a psychiatrist about this and i want to, but i DO NOT want this to show up on any medical records. Especially because i am perusing a career in medicine, and i also do not want to be questioned on it in the future. I live in Canada as well. I have had a nagging yeast infection that has been honestly lingering for 2 weeks.I was originally diagnosed by my doctor with a yeast infection brought upon by antibiotics I was taking.
