Like with regular steroids as side effects/ will she get mood swings, grow facial Hair, lose her breasts?

Your mother will not become masculine, grow facial hair, or lose her breasts. The type of steroids used in infusions are not anabolic steroids, the type that body builders use. She is going to get an infusion of corticosteroids. Some of us get mood swings from them and some of us don't. Everybody does not have the same emotional reaction to them.

They're treating her with corticosteroids, not anabolic steroids, so no. I was treated with very high doses of IV steroids last fall and I didn't become masculine.
